Pros: well constructed, really powerful; able to really take on whatever you feed into the chute. Has reduced the time to get through a pile of wood dramatically. Love the key start. My old rope pull start nearly killed me. Cons: Heavy to move by hand - two person job. Some issues assembling it when first arrived, with back & forth with the company reps, but finally achieved. I wish the chute wood chip output could be directed more easily into a bag, etc - it just goes everywhere. 50% into the wheelbarrel, and 50% everywhere else despite adjusting the spout.

From the start of opening the assembly manual to putting the unit into use the process has been pain free. The assembly manual is well written and logical compared to some others. The key for me was spending the extra to have the auto feed system. It makes the feeding of material easy and with the reverse feed jams are quickly eliminated. I was concerned at first about having enough power with my IH 40 year old 18 PTO horse power tractor, but after feeding it a few lengths of 3"-4" all concerns went away!
