VarioHeat, AquaGo, and Aventa
I can appreciate the Truma system's efficiency after having extensive experience with the 'traditional' technology for Travel Trailer propane heater, Water heater and Air Conditioner. My Winnebago Micro Minnie FLX came with these systems. New to me, how much better could they be than the 'tried-and-true'? Wow, the answer is VERY different. My heater is now QUIET. My hot water is pretty much endless and instant, doesn't scaled my skin off, and my A/C now also dehumidifies. I've been up in Colorado in February and the heat keeps me comfortable and is very quiet. Uses less propane than the traditional one I had before. There is a small tank (less than a liter I think?) on the AquaGo, but no more hauling 6 gallons of water in a tank that needs to be heated often to keep it sanitary. I can adjust how hot I want my water. No more filling the water heater tank with vinegar then rinsing with wand and hose. I've had only little experience with the Aventa, but it doesn't require a 'soft-start' aftermarket device to allow it to run on less-than 30Amps and it has a dehumidify setting that really works. In my (unscientific) test, it took my inside humidity down 2% in 40 minutes, from 79% to 77%. I didn't run the test longer because I needed heat. I don't think the Truma system allows the Aventa to run at the same time as the VarioHeat. Controls are minimally intuitive, but once yet get them, it's a breeze.
