I really do like my new trailer jack. I had to make a run to Home Depot to purchase longer bolts than what came with the jack, but that was no problem. I will make this suggestion about the bolts. Whether you are using the 4” bolts or 6” that I bought, use a smaller hex head than what came with the order. The 7/8 wrench will not fit into the securing bracket to hold the nut secure. I downsized, using the same size threads but a 1/2 hex head. If you are using a socket set it may not be an issue. I love using an electric drill to raise and lower the jack, it saves on wear and tear on my shoulder and knuckles when slipping off the old cranking jack that I replaced. I’m hoping this unit gives me years of service. I would like to know how often I should add grease into the grease fitting.
