It was so nice to have Rio as our guide for this Uji walking tour! He translated everything for us, making our Byōdō-in experience much more meaningful. Our teahouse experience was also wonderful, as was the opportunity to see shrines that looked straight out of a studio ghibli movie. We had such a great day despite it being rainy - Rio made the most of everything, and we had a fantastic time!
