A Proper Olive Donegal—refined warmth for autumn & winter
This is everything I like about Donegal tweed. The olive reads calm and solid from a few steps back, but up close the red, blue, and gold flecks come alive. The cloth feels like a soft blanket, yet the jacket still looks sharp and put-together. Mine’s a classic two-button that drops right into the rotation—mid-grey flannel, taupe twill, even dark denim all work. Add a tie and it really shines: burgundy grenadine or navy repp are easy wins. The Bottoli wool is spot-on for cooler months—cozy without being heavy, with a nice drape and good breathability. Stitching and buttons are tidy and well done. If you want a sport coat with real character and range, this one is a joy to wear.
