FINALLY found the perfect Parka (Coastal Maine)!!! I've gone through 4 jackets over the last 5 years from various brands and finally feel that I've found the perfect blend of function and look. This was tested right away with single digit temps on the day it arrived. I was comfortable outside for over and hour with nothing but a t-shirt underneath. The jacket is surprisingly light compared to the others I've tried. It's still a substantial coat, but not nearly as heavy and bulky as others. Two-way zip works great. Comfortable on the face when fully zipped with or without the hood on. Exterior chest stash pocket is appreciated. Sleeve cuffs make a nice seal but aren't too tight. Handwarmer sleeves in the hand pockets is a clever feature! Fit is as expected. I'm always a Patagonia Large and was here too (5'9", 180lbs, athletic). It's roomy enough for layers and doesn't feel baggy when wearing without. Length is great coverage without being long enough to inhibit access to pant pockets. It's a great refined look. Others I've tried have multiple exterior pockets and I prefer a more streamlined look, which this delivers. Overall, extremely satisfied and eager to wear this more and more! Highly recommend!

Solid jacket. I had the previous Frozen Range parka and it was great. I like the streamlined front with deep side pockets. What I do miss from previous version if the bigger hood that stands up high when zipped up.

My husband loves this jacket! His wife (me) would love a women’s jacket just like it!

Keeps me warm. That is the most important element. Got the zippers pretty much broken in for the pockets.
