I finally tried the Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer and now I get the hype. The texture feels cooling and a little sticky at first, but once you let it sit, it really grips onto your makeup. My foundation goes on smoother and lasts way longer without separating or sliding around. It also keeps my skin feeling hydrated instead of dry or tight. A little goes a long way, and as long as you let it set before applying makeup, it works beautifully. Definitely a staple in my routine.
