Green Tea + Mint

I tried this insect repellent for the first time and I absolutely love it! It feels great on the skin, not sticky at all and no bad smell. I used it at the park and It has a long lasting effect mosquitos or flys did not bit me. It has a refreshing smell not like other products with deet on them. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was able to try this incredible, long-lasting bug spray from Grand Tongo! The Green Tea + Mint scent was light and relaxing. The smell of the sprays are intended to fade a few minutes after application, but it actually lasts as a very subtle scent that’s comparable to a fresh after-shower smell or a light natural perfume. The bug spray comes in an aerosol can which provides easy, even application on your skin. The spray dries quickly and does not leave a greasy feeling on your skin or residue on your clothes. You almost forget you’re wearing any bug spray at all until you realize you are bite-free! When you smell your skin several hours later, you’re enveloped in that refreshing scent of the spray, and know it’s still working to keep those pesky bugs at bay. As a person who steps outside and instantly feels attacked by bugs that are drawn to my blood, I can’t give enough praise to this company for not only being transparent about ingredients and expectations, but for creating a product that I feel comfortable using for my entire family! I will certainly be spreading the word about this bug spray. While so far, I’ve only gotten to use it for backyard play and long night walks, I’d feel confident using it in nearly any setting where the bugs are out and biting!

It sprays on as a light, refreshing mist that dries quickly without any sticky residue — honestly barely noticeable on your skin. This came in clutch as we hiked through the headwaters of Itasca State Park. Not one of us was eaten alive by the notorious Minnesota bugs! I was given the Grand Tongo Green Tea and Mint bug spray in exchange for a review through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We’ve had a lot of rain this summer and our yard has subsequently been filled with mosquitoes. This bug spray has worked great to prevent being covered in bug bites. The spray goes on in a mist as hasn’t stained any clothes and starts working immediately. The smell is mild and you quickly forget you’re even wearing bug spray as there’s no lingering bug spray smell.

After a few hours, Tongo Bug Spray left my skin feeling as if I put on a little lotion. Unlike others, it is a light moisturizer feeling, which I absolutely prefer. Not oily, not chemically. My kids said the same thing. "It goes on good and it does not feel damp after. " After using other sprays, we always felt the need to shower it off. Tongo doesn't leave us feeling like that. We are on trails and at parks a lot, and our backyard backs up to woods, so we used it while maintaining the yard and on the trails. While mowing, I normally have gnat-like bugs flying all around, but with Tongo, they seemed to finally leave me alone. And dinner on our patio normally leaves us with biting midges (no-see-ums) or mosquito bites. Tongo let us enjoy it pest-free. The kids went fishing and even sat in the grass and came out chigger-free, too. The green tea + mint fragrance is pleasant. As you spray it, it seems strong, but on the skin it is a light essence that smells as it should without the strong chemical odor. It doesn't smell like bug spray. You smell nice. I like the nozzle that you can twist to protect from accidental sprays in a bag or with kids. And from research, the ingredients in Tongo versus other sprays are just as effective, if not more, plus are safer. I can definitely get behind Tongo, a brand that is checking the boxes of what we want for our family. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing us to try out this product.
