Mokumeganeya ( English Store )

In April, my girlfriend and I visited Japan. Once we arrived in Osaka, we went up to the top of the Harukas 300 skyscraper, where I proposed to her. My now-fiancée said yes, and we went straight down to the MOKUMEGANEYA store. We were very warmly welcomed by the sales staff, and even though their English wasn’t perfect, they immediately connected us via iPad to an agent in Tokyo, who translated everything the kind saleswomen in Osaka were showing us. My fiancée finally chose her favorite ring, and we confirmed the order with an advance payment of half the value. About three months later, the ring was delivered to us in Switzerland, where we live. Sakura, who accompanied us for two and a half weeks in Japan, now sits as a diamond on the finger of the woman I love. Thank you for everything. The ring, forged by MOKUMEGANEYA’s Japanese artisans, is beautiful and one of a kind.

Couldn’t have found a better place to make our engagement ring and wedding bands. There is something magical about rings from Japan, even moreso when it’s from mokumeganeya. Their designs are so timeless yet so unique compared to any other rings I have come across. The team have also been super attentive to all our queries during the whole process. We didn’t what to expect with the process of purchasing a ring online and designing it with a consultant online. The entire team at Mokumeganeya: Alfred, Phi, and Manami was thorough, transparent, and communicative throughout the whole process. After waiting some months for the ring to arrive, words could not describe how we felt seeing the ring for the first time. The wood design, or mokumegane, and craftsmanship of the ring was beautiful. The pattern and blending of metals are truly a unique design, my fiancée loves it very much. The ring encapsulates our love story and journey perfectly.
