This backpack is the best one I could find on the market to do my cycling commute to work, for taking my work gear with me (laptop, iPad, pencilcase ect. ) and a fresh pack of clothes and my walking shoes. It fits exactly for that and it keeps just enough distance to my back to keep it from getting uncomfortable and too sweaty. I have to watch the placement of the shoes though, because if I put too much stuff against them, they get pushed against the mesh that keeps te distance to my back, so I can feel them through, since the shoes pouch is against the backside of the backpack.
