K. van Bourgondien

I have been buying bulbs from various catalogs (now finalizing on the internet) for 30 years, I would guess. When they start coming in the mail, I love looking through the pages and fall in love with so many blooms that it's hard to choose which ones to order. I love that there are so many varieties! In the end, I buy as much as I can plant given the time and body available to me. The bulbs from K. van B have always come through, and I get rave reviews from neighbors and family alike. I buy mostly tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, and ranunculus. I live in Zone 9, they say. I refrigerate them when they arrive despite being advertised as "ready to plant" in my zone. It doesn't get that cold here, and I want to be sure as some bulbs years ago didn't do well without chilling. I do wish the bulbs arrived sooner, TBH, so I wasn't still planting after Thanksgiving when it's muddy out there. Maybe I'm being overly cautious.
