Very pleased with our playhouse!
I'm very excited to welcome my preschoolers back this fall to play in our new schoolhouse, which is perfectly proportioned to their size!
Assembly was not too difficult, but if you have no background in DIY building projects, there might be some tricky parts. It took 2 of us about 6 hours to put the playhouse together. We were able to have the project completed--assembled, painted, shingled, and the bell installed--in about 3 1/2 days. We're still troubleshooting the bell. . . . it doesn't like to return to position after being rung and I wonder if the handle is a bit too heavy and causing the bell to be pulled off center when hanging. It shouldn't be too difficult to solve.
Delivery was a cinch and the panels were solid and well-constructed. We have remodeled multiple homes and my husband has a lot of experience with building and he was very impressed with the quality of the product. The instructions were generally easy to follow, but there were a few parts that implied steps that weren't spelled out. Again, if you have a little bit of building experience, you'll likely figure it out, but I'm sure a call to the office could get you some help as well.
The only criticism I have is that the website gives an estimate of 2-4 weeks for delivery. Ours took 8. 5 weeks to get here and there was zero communication on their end--I had to reach out every couple of weeks for status updates. I wish they'd at least let us know about the delays.
