I’ve owned a Briggs & Riley bag for about 15 years, so when it was finally time for a new carry-on, I already knew the quality and longevity I could expect from the brand. This new carry-on has only reinforced why I’ve remained so loyal. It is incredibly lightweight and easy to maneuver. The four wheels glide seamlessly over multiple types of terrain, and even when fully packed, the bag feels balanced and effortless to move. And the plum color is absolutely gorgeous!! The Smart Packing Technology may be my favorite feature. I recently took the carry-on to New York for a shopping trip and somehow managed to comfortably repack everything I had brought AND fit two new pairs of shoes in their original boxes for the trip home. I was impressed by how much I could fit without feeling like I was wrestling the suitcase closed. There’s also a funny sense of camaraderie among Briggs & Riley travelers. Over the years, I’ve gotten knowing nods of acknowledgment from pilots and fellow travelers carrying their own Briggs & Riley bags. It really does feel like an “if you know, you know” travel club. Briggs & Riley is an investment, but after 15 years with my first piece, I already know it’s one worth making. I love this carry-on so much that my next purchase will be a matching smaller piece that can sit on top of it while traveling and fit underneath the airplane seat. Beautiful, lightweight, incredibly functional, and built to last—exactly what I hoped for from Briggs & Riley.
