As I take time out
As I take time out of my day to improve your ratings and get no benefit from it other than the dopamine satisfaction of wondering how you’ll react when you…or whatever A. I. model reads this…I will say my expectations have been met.
My history with the B. A. F Co. starts about 23 years ago when my father trespassed onto private property in Warrior, Alabama and began fishing in a pond on some land he assumed was abandoned.
But a man with the last name of Fann had recently moved there with his family. Due to my father’s gregarious nature the two men became good acquaintances and we returned to fish semi often. We found out that Mr. Fann was an engineer for B. A. F and so began my fascination with the upper class of the air moving machines.
Brother-in-law is a pilot for the coast guard. Saw them in the hangars.
Looked them up and drooled over them. When my wife and I got married I (an aspiring house builder) told her we would have a big ass fan in our house one day. She looked them up, saw the price, and rolled her eyes. “That’s too expensive, isn’t it?”
Fast forward 13 years and I’ve built most of my house. It has 26’ ceilings and we have waited to buy this Speakeasy because of the cost. I saw it on sale and bought it on a whim.
After I installed it, I was underwhelmed by its air movement in our 610 square foot house…but I was impatient. Fast forward 5 hours and we began to notice the air at our feet was moving. Not blowing you over. Just recycling air around the house.
We. Freaking. Love it.
It’s quiet. You can’t hear it.
IT LOOKS GOOD!!
It actually moves air!!
Thank you BIG ASS FANS.
