Schecter Sun Valley Super Shredder FRS Electric Guitar

I love the EMG and Sustainiac option this guitar has. The neck is fantastic. Floyd Rose is perfect. What's not to like? This guitar has quickly became my number one. And I do own quite a few guitars. I've owned this over a year now and its not going anywhere. If they are still available I would advise you to buy one now. I got the matte black one. Beautiful finish. All are.

The EMG sounds really full. Not a lifeless high volume pickup but a really good full sound. The stainless steel parts on the Floyd Rose is nice. It will take some time adjusting the neck and action. It will also take some time getting use to how the pickups switch on or off depending on if the Sustainer switch is engaged. The neck single coil also has a pleasant tone. I also own the Nick Johnston signature model. I have noticed that these Schecters are a really nice build quality but they do require a bit of tweaking/setup to play their best. It's not the best guitar you can buy in this price range but you also can't buy a Sustainer and have it installed in a guitar for less than you would spend on this guitar. So I give it 5 stars for a combination of looks, playability and features.

This is my first Schecter, and wow! This thing shreds. I've never been one for active emg pickups, but I was pleasantly surprised.The sustainer pickup is wild, I wanted one for years and this was a great opportunity. You won't regret this purchase the fret work and the fit and finish are amazing. And as always AMS service is amazing.

Love this guitar. Plays great and i love the green . Only issue is I will not be playing my other guitars now.
