I got these boots on
I got these boots on sale directly from Alpinestars USA. They sent out the shipment the same day and they arrived very quickly. The boots themselves are very good. I haven't used them on the road since it's winter still, but I have no complaints thus far.
The padding is very thick and overall the boot is very comfortable. I have a wide toe box and the Tech 7 is a little narrow, but it's breaking in. I'm also using a shoe stretcher to loosen up the width a tad. I have Leatt 5. 5 boots as well and they seem to accommodate a wider forefoot than the Tech 7s. The ankle pocket on the Tech 7 is pretty wide, so it slips a bit while walking. But these are issues I have with most footwear.
The Tech 7 Enduro Drystars are light, relative to the Leatt 5. 5, but a little heavier than my Alpinestars Corozal boots, which are also very good. The Corozals are better for wide feet, but feel significantly less protective.
Lastly, the Tech 7s have an overall heel height of about 1. 75 inches, which helps shorter riders like me. I found that the Alpinestars enduro and adventure boots to be fairly generous in this area, compared to some other brands. Overall, I am happy with these Tech 7 boots.
