There is nothing better in the pencil world as the Blackwing. The volumes with their inspiration stories make it even more fun. Great gifts for teacher and staff appreciation. Careful though, it is addictive.

Good writing, reasonably-priced pencils. I got two gross of the Golden Bear blue, made in the USA, and three dozen of the Golden Bear orange, made in Thailand. I also have Forest Choice in my collection from a previous order. All are good writing pencils with a dark line and good erasability. These are among my top go-to pencils

I've ordered from Pencils. com a couple of times before. The Golden Bear pencils are a favorite. They write well, dark, and smoothly. I decided to go with two gross of the blue-bodied, made in the USA, Golden Bears, and for good measure three dozen of the orange Golden Bears, made in Thailand. I always keep one nearby.
