The experience with Lovbe was an awesome one. They were one of the few parts of the engagement and wedding planning process that I didn't have to stress over. Alyce was beyond helpful and even pointed out that I was about to order the wrong wedding band to match my fiance's engagement ring. She knew it might be an issue and was proactive in letting me know, sparing me the embarrassment of not realizing it until the day of our wedding. Otherwise, that indeed would have been the case. The wedding band arrived and had an engraving absent on the engagement ring. I reached out, and she acknowledged the issue and had it quickly shipped back to them and back to me without putting that cost on me. I had no idea that some jewelers would only grind the ring down in those situations and repolish it to remove the engraving. She determined that going that route would negatively impact the finished product I would receive and had the ring completely recast. I was only concerned with the window of time we had left and the estimated arrival date; Alyce made sure it arrived with plenty of time to spare and made a lifetime customer out of me. Lovbe may not be the oldest player in the game, but they are courteous, respectful of your time, accountable when something goes wrong, and treat you like the money your spending matters. Lovbe earned a lifetime of my business because while being a customer implies you are transacting, it feels good to know that working with them feels personal because of the concierge-level service they offer post-purchase. That is something I didn't get at many of the mainstay companies where I shopped.
