Glad I took the chance!
I was reluctant at first since I don't typically like foam mattresses. I'm 6'0, 220 lbs (athletic turned dad-bod) and spent the last 12 years on a firm Kingsdown mattress. As of today I've spent 2 months sleeping on my L&C Choice mattress (king sized). I am a side and stomach sleeper.
This mattress is wonderful! I'm still adjusting to the foam components but it feels great, lots of support (my lower back isn't sore/aching anymore!) and I sleep great!
The only two things I have to comment on that might be considered negative are:
1) There is good side support but being bigger/heavier I would like a little bit more just when getting out of bed.
2) Sometimes when I roll into the middle of the bed it feels a little 'up hill', probably because of the memory foam. I prefer a flat surface rather than a spot conformed to my body. I was aware that memory foam would do this and I'd say I'm just still adjusting to it.
I haven't had to rotate the mattress yet but I'm sure it'll be fine. It might just take a few extra minutes given the weight of it.
The bottom line is that I'm sleeping great, wake up pain-free feeling rested and I feel I got great value in purchasing this mattress. I also purchased the platform and received the sleep bundle. All in, delivered to my door for less than $2k. Some mattresses alone cost more than that.
I'm very happy I took the chance and barring any unforeseen events will be keeping it. I hope it stands the test of time and I have no reason to believe it won't.
