This fence was the best

Easy to follow instructions, everything arrived together, looks great when done, and does the job of keeping the deer out of my garden

700 test, 6x100' (6-2014 review with 2015 update)

(2014) We installed this around our vegetable garden and greenhouse to keep the deer out. In the past we've used deer fence from another supplier that was much flimsier even though we bought the heavy-duty option. Critterfence acts, handles, and installs more like real wire fencing. Our biggest frustration with the other supplier's product was how it would hang droopy no matter how well we installed it. Critterfence installs nice and straight and tight without fussing around with it. For the garden, we used 4"x8' posts on the corners and heavy-duty 7' t-posts spaced every 6-7 feet. The fencing is truly a light impact on the eye and view, being about as invisible as a fence can be. The birds seem to be aware of it and don't crash into it even though it's directly in the path they used to zip through. We have a few reflective strips of ribbon around the perimeter as they and the deer get used to it being there. I'm interested in the fence's performance, looks, and durability as the years pass. I'm also interested in seeing how the fence reacts to the heavy wet snows we get up here in the Colorado mountains. The other company's fencing would collect snow on the top edge and sag down quite a bit. I don't see how Critterfencing would do that but we'll have lots of chance to see what winter does to the product. (2015 update): We've had the fencing in place for over a year and are still very happy with it. A deer spooked and ran into it, bounced, and ran away unharmed. The fence was also unharmed although a little pooched out. A bear ripped one corner of the fence material while climbing the corner post to get to a bird feeder, we were a little surprised at that ripping but moved the feeder to remove further temptation or damage. Heavy wet snow does accumulate on the top edge of the fence and make it sag a little. We're going to weave some cabling through the netting across the top to eliminate that this year. We also wove cable through the bottom to tighten the tension and make it impossible for a critter to shimmy under. Overall: we continue to give this fencing our full thumbs up.

Extremely satisfied with the product and the service. Needed to keep coyotes and deer out of a certain area. The fencing seems to have worked for both animals. This product seems to work as advertised.
