Finally(!) we were able to get the time to treat our seven hives. We have four traditional Langs and 3 long Langs. In the AM we predrilled our access holes and inserted galvanized screws to keep them clear. We cleaned our bottom inspection boards and had them ready to go. Around 7pm eastern with very little entrance activity we closed up all entrances and inserted our bottom boards. With five treatment caps filled and ready to go we were completely done treating in less than 20 minutes! If we hadn’t seen the massive amount vapor leaking from one of our older hives I might have suspected something was wrong. The treatment was complete in less than two minutes per hive with 98%-100% of the oxalic powder vaporized (it was a damp night as well on Cape Cod). The Lorob vaporizer is truly very easy to use. We are extremely satisfied. PS…anyone want to buy a treatment wand?
