Wow does it get hot. And with very little smoke. In the past to make a steak in my New York City apartment I would heat a cast iron pan in the oven at 500 degrees, then slap the steak on it. It seared it great, but smoked enough to terrify the Fire Department. The Kenyon City Grill gets hot as you know where, but produces very little smoke. Cooking steaks and burgers is now a nearly smokeless breeze.
