Ooni Karu 12G

Ooni Karu 12G

At just under 34lb., the multi-fuel Ooni Karu 2 is compact, durable and built for life on the go—whether you’re camping, firing up pizzas under the stars or just cooking for friends in your backyard. Use wood, charcoal or an optional gas burner* to reach up to 950 °F and make flame-cooked, restaurant-quality pizzas in just 60 seconds. Includes a borosilicate glass door that lets you watch the magic (you know, cheese bubbling, crusts rising, pepperoni crisping, all the good stuff) happen while its ClearView™ technology reduces sooty buildup on its surface. A wider, 45% bigger solid fuel tray provides an even flame and nests snuggly at the back for easy cleanup. If gas-fueled cooking is more your thing, it’s a snap to switch to the Karu 2’s gas burner attachment–which burns 36% more efficiently on the Karu 2 than on its predecessor. The oven's nose and rear are cast aluminum, and its powder-coated, weather-resistant shell offers excellent heat retention. *Gas Burner for the Karu 2 sold separately

It was a gift to someone and I made him very happy!

Beautiful Pizza oven. Looks good and solid. I gave it as a gift and the person receiving it was more than happy with it. My own house would not be suitable for an oven like this (wood fire is no option, I have no space on my balcony for the gas oven and the electric oven is too big for my small kitchen) so unfortunately I will stay with my fernus stove top oven. But if Ooni Volt had a smaller size it would be perfect.

Great pizza!

I bought this as a gift for my parents who used to have a proper concrete pizza oven in their old home. They now live in a bushfire area, so the idea of having a gas option was important - but I knew Dad would still appreciate the charm of the wood fire when possible. It took 3 cooks for him to get the hang of it - mainly getting the heat right - using a combo of lump charcoal and hardwood, and watching YouTube videos - but the results were excellent! Very happy that such a small unit can create pizzas as good as their old pizza oven!
