I have used a countertop water distiller for decades and this is, by far, my favorite. Was looking for UL Listed and like the metal body. The glass collection bottle option is quite nice with no more glugging when pouring. Upgraded because the plug on my less expensive version melted into the unit and started smoking up the house. It was not plugged into a GFI outlet because the GFI often tripped and I, seeing nothing wrong, did not realize the old distiller was the issue or catch it was not UL Listed. Although the unit served me well until this it was scary (glad I was home!) and will never own another not UL Listed.

Finally, great company treatment and a product that is reasonable priced--for what it is. I have been using my water distiller non-stop. Finally, water the way it is supposed to be--pure! (Never mind all the lies about how distilled water pulls out minerals from your body. It only takes what shouldn't be there in the first place. (Some of the older health experts have said that distilled water is the best water to drink--like Paul Bragg).
