It works. For the price, this is a very good pedometer. My only issue is the clip. The pedometer sometimes comes loose from the clip. My solution for walking outdoors is to place it in my pocket. It works fine.

Company was really easy to work with, pedometers we ordered weren't appropriate for our needs, they made returns easy and replacement on their suggestion was perfect.
