I just started using the NEWA consistently, so I can’t honestly say I see dramatic visible changes yet. However, I do enjoy using it and I trust that the technology is working gradually beneath the surface since RF treatments are usually more long-term collagen support than instant results. The device is comfortable to use and feels well made. I’ve been focusing mainly on consistency and I’m hopeful I’ll start seeing firmer skin and better definition over time. I plan to continue using it and update later as I get further into the process.

I bought a device for my partner and also one for myself (cordless and corded). She told me the other day she feels like it’s doing something for her face, particularly her 11 lines between the brows. They definitely appear less aggressive. It has been keeping my jowls in check too (thank goodness). We didn’t take before and after pictures, because I’d rather not have evidence of the before. We’ve been using it about three times a week, sometimes more but also sometimes less depending on time and willingness. So far so good I’d say. Ergonomically speaking, it has a dainty fit in my hand therefore it’s pretty easy to use, so I can see myself continuing to use it. My sessions are maybe 25-30 minutes. I honestly look forward to using it while I watch the Tube. It’s kind of meditative, as silly as that sounds. Feels like self care. The warm sensation is relaxing. I will say though, if you are a lily white goddess with sensitive skin, maybe start on the lower setting, because it can feel pretty hot. My partner is pale, but her skin isn’t super sensitive but will still turn red after her sessions and she tends to tan well. It goes away for her not long after, maybe like 20 minutes later. I’m a brownie, and ancestors used to worship the sun, so my skin isn’t that sensitive and I can crank it up to high without issues. My skin is just a little pink afterwards. Don’t expect to look completely snatched in a week, give it some time. The results seem to built on top of each other but you have to stay consistent. If you use retinol or microneedling in conjunction with radio frequency just be sure to space out the sessions, to allow your skin time to heal. On the days I don’t use the newa device, I use my omnilux red light mask, right before bed. I’m bout that life, so trust me when I say it’s a good device for the price, it’s a good introductory device. You can decide later if you want to go balls to the walls with something more expensive, I don’t think you’ll need it though.
