Back in October, my dad passed away. For 2 years, we had battled as a family with his terminal diagnosis. Around September, things took a turn for the worst. It was quite possibly the most stressful time of my life. Around my dad’s passing, I started to develop a strange rash under my left arm. At first I thought it was my deodorant, but changing/abstaining from deodorant did not solve the issue. Then I looked at my laundry detergent. There were no changes. Nothing had really changed in my routine. I visited a doctor who chalked it up to stress, looked at me for 5 minutes, and sent me home with a steroid cream that helped, but the rash never fully resolved.
