Raptor®

I have had my raptors for around 3ish years and have been using them intensely. I have had amazing experiences with them. The spring under one of the buttons broke after two years; sent it back to get it fixed. No charge!!!! The customer support was amazing. The quality of the shears is amazing. Having cut through clothing multiple times it goes through like butter, seatbelt cutter is top tier, and the built in O2 wrench has saved my butt multiple times when the allusive truck one goes missing when I need it.

Raptor Rescue is something. All about those scissors. At home I can cut heavy leather for my projects, in my lab it will cut any tubing with ease. My wife is a trauma nurse and only tried it once before purchase.

These are a great addition to my IFAK.

I purchased the first gen Raptor Rescue and after a month I notes small rust marks. I purchased the Raptor Response but I don’t like it as much as the Rescue. I just purchased the new version on the Rescue after misplacing my original pair. I love the compact size of the rescue, it’s easy to deploy one handed by flicking the wrist while holding one of the handles, I use the seat belt cutter on the regular for hard to open IV med bag. Along with my 1-in-5 pens the Raptor Rescue is a must have tool when I’m on shift.

Have had my raptors for almost 4 years, the only thing I have found difficult in cutting is motocross leggings with Kevlar in them or very thick leather jackets worn by those who ride motorcycles regularly. Other than those 2 items of clothing I have never had any problems with them. The regular cheap shears broke when trying to cut the above items.
