Raptor®

I'm a full-time EMT at an urban, high volume EMS agency. I'm not a fan of spending my own money on equipment that my company should probably just be buying for me, but after going through numerous cheap trauma shears that get dull quickly I decided to just buy some good quality ones. These things are like a hot knife through butter on leather, thick jeans, belts.. you name it. The satisfaction of not having to struggle to cut through meemaw's winter sweater after her GLF worth every penny. I've been using these for about a year (several uses per week) and they haven't dulled the slightest. So long as you're responsible enough to not lose them or forget them in the hospital's trauma bay, these are truly worth every penny.

I have had my raptors for about 12 years. In that time as a ER, and a floor nurse, I have cut everything from simple dressings to very thick leather boots off of hunters. They have never failed me in removing anything that needed to be removed. I rely on them almost daily with working in the emergency room, the edge is just as sharp now as it was when I started using them 12 years ago. In the emergency room, nurses have to remove clothes, shoes, winter boots, along with number of other materials. The last thing you want is to cause more harm by having to pull or tug on what you are cutting off an injured person. I absolutely love them. the only thing i would change, is the folding of the, i would rather have them opened and ready to go in the holster.

I LOVE these shears. My brother got them for me as a gift, I've used them for about a month now. I'm and EMT and they've really come in handy with work! Highly recommend. The only thing I wish was different was the scissors would be a little longer!

I bought a pair for my grandchildren’s mother who is a nurse. She loves them. They just cut right through fiberglass cloth used for casts. A doctor even started walking off with her pair. Good thing I had her name engraved on them. Good job Leatherman!

I was given these ✂️. One of the greatest gifts ever, honestly. I use them daily, multiple times daily. They are a part of my uniform. They easily cut all materials a nurse would need to cut. I've removed clothing during emergencies with them. They are sharp and have came in handy time and time again. Awesome product. Would love a pair for my wife as she's a hospice nurse and they would get used well.
