Harris Welding Supplies is an awesome company regarding both their equipment & products, and their customer service & business practices. I recently purchased the Harris HMD Medium Duty Ironworker 510 (Male) Oxygen Acetylene Torch Kit 4400366, and I added an additional Powerweld 25 Ft. 1/4" Grade T Twin BB Welding Hose for more versatility in length and fuel varieties. I just stepped up to a more reliable setup from a little MC bottle rig. The Kit was priced right, came packaged well, and was delivered in a very timely manner. I had a small imperfection with the Gauge Set, the plastic ¼ turn face plate gauge covers somehow were cracked on the bezel edges and didn’t want to stay installed, (which totally baffles me, because as I noted previously the Kit was packaged VERY well). Potentially the small cracks occurred at a point prior to being packaged for distribution. But Harris made it right in very short order with replacements at no cost and they were very cordial, professional, and friendly. For handling and use, the torch is balanced well, and I am very pleased with the structure, design, and craftsmanship. The secondary Powerweld hose is also very good quality and convenient addition to the torch kit. My first project was a total success with this new Harris outfit. I had to cut up an old non DEQ wood stove fireplace insert comprised of ¼” steel. With my gauge settings at a 1 to 4 ratio, it was like running a hot knife through butter.
