Strong and Medicinal without Crap These are the only 100% organic hard peppermints on the market. There are only three ingredients: organic cane sugar, organic brown rice syrup, and organic natural flavor. I need to reach out to them to find out what is in their “organic natural flavor”, but as long as natural flavor is certified organic, it usually means that it does not contain propylene glycol, ethylene glycol, polyethylene glycol, etc — all of which we have anaphylaxis to, though there are some loopholes due to ridiculous proprietary flavoring laws that allow companies to hide ingredients from consumers, even if they have anaphylactic allergies and need to know all ingredients present, including ingredients used for processing that aren’t declared, but that remain in the final product. I’m guessing that it’s actually and hopefully certified organic peppermint essential oil. These are nice and strong and long lasting, though I wish they were slightly stronger and had just a touch more certified organic peppermint essential oil. I use these as a medicine for frequent nausea and simple GI bloating and discomfort. These are really hard to find in stores, I’ve always had to find them online. I’m just happy that I don’t need to make our own organic peppermints. It would be amazing if YumEarth sold these in bulk at a discounted price as they do for their other candies! This is far and away the best product they make.
