I had an existing Eufy product, so I had the app already installed on my mobile phone when this package arrived. That probably made set up even easier, however, I was still impressed with how quickly this went up to being effective. I am curious to see in the long run how the solar panel does in terms of keeping the battery charged. On the plus side, I have this right outside my front door, and the mount is easy to remove (could be an issue if a burglar decided to remove it), yet that will make it easy for me to recharge if I felt I needed to do that beyond the solar panel.Overall, I have strong recommendations for Eufy products as I bought a Ring product at the same time. The Ring product required a subscription, rendering it useless other than a motion detector/live feed streamer once the free trial ended. The Eufy products with their local storage are useful. Also, the moveable camera is really cool. I do hope that this camera holds up to the elements. I am a bit concerned since even the disclaimer says, "keep out of the sun & weather." Sort of a gotcha if it goes bad, placed where it is in direct sunlight with the possibility of sideways rain exposure when it is windy. I'll try to update in a year.

I love this camera! It has solar charging so no need for wires or batteries. No more changing batteries every two to three months. It has clear, color picture day and night. It turns 360 degrees. Has an app that also controls it. When you are away from home, you can set it in the app to away mode and any motion on your property will set off an alarm and flashing light!! Yes I love this feature! If the alarm sounds, you are notified in the app and yes you can turn it off or disable it in the app. Easy to install and hook up to WiFi. We also bought the tower to go with it to record videos to. No more paying a monthly monitoring fee. The tower has its own hard drive. You can manage your videos in the app.

Great little camera for zooming in on the unwanted. Solar power so I never have to replace any batteries as itt is on our garage with no power near by. as worked great so far.
