Super easy install and setup.
I deliver pizza for a living and I'm terrified of getting hit no matter how cautiously and carefully I drive. I started looking up dashcams online and the r/dashcam subreddit recommended several different cams, mainly Viofo or one/two other companies. I settled on a Viofo because I wanted to invest in a good camera setup and they had the better reviews overall.
I drive a 2005 Toyota Corolla.
I went to the online store and it was very easy to navigate, read the item specs and details, and choose which pieces/add-ons I wanted. I got an A329S, front cam and waterproof rear cam, and the HK6 hardwire kit. They arrived on schedule. The only way setting up the cameras could have been easier is if I snapped my fingers!
As for hardwiring them into the fusebox, that was a pretty easy process as well. The hardwire kit includes different types of fuse taps, the only tool I needed was a pair of vice grips, and from there I just had to stash the wires.
I haven't needed customer service yet.
My next upgrade will be getting the Viofo SD card, and a cabin cam. The only negative I can say is that the mounting plate for the waterproof rear camera doesn't quite under the trunk handle. But I was able to sticky-mount it to the inside of my rear windshield.
For camera settings and such, I haven't had to use the buttons on the camera very much. The app is very easy to navigate and use.
