Setting & Sharing A New Record With My Iridium Go!
Over the last 31 days with my adventuring partner we attempted to be with first American man and woman and third people ever to ski the last degree to the South Pole, climb Mt Vinson (a Seven Summit) and climb Mt Sidley (a Volcanic Seven Summit and one of the remote peaks on Earth)...all in a climbing single season in Antarctica.
Through sub zero storms and temperatures, frost bite and countless unforeseen obstacles we were fortunate to realize this goal just a few days ago.
One constant that provided mental and emotional strength from home was my Iridium Go! - without which this journey would have been substantially harder. Roadpost made it easy to buy just weeks before leaving and get up and running the the device itself with the downloadable apps was reliable throughout all the adverse conditions we faced and gave me the chance to stay connected to those I love back in Seattle from some of the most remote spots on Earth.
I am now a loyal Iridium Go! user and know that those who saw and learned of it from me will be getting ones as well. It will be with me on Everest in the coming months and a mandatory piece of gear for all my future expeditions.
