Broke Down and Nordic Track Doesn't Care
We ordered the X24 bike on Nov 17th, received it on Nov 22nd - so pretty great service. Put the bike together and we used it for 4 days - stopped working on Nov 25th. I used the bike in the morning - worked fine, my wife went to use it 2 hours later and the bike was no longer interacting with the display. No resistance, no incline, no RPMs being recorded - nothing. I called the help line and they walked me thru a script that eventually ended up as a total reboot of the software. Still nothing. At that point they told me they would order a new wiring harness which would take up to 10 days to receive and then I would have to schedule in the technician. I asked why they thought it was a wiring harness and they just basically said that's what should be replaced first - again following the script I'm guessing they are told to follow. I asked what happens when the wiring harness gets replaced and it still doesn't work and they told me then the technician would order whatever part he thought was needed. It's now been 2 weeks since we ordered the part and IT HASN'T EVEN SHIPPED YET!! I called a few days ago and they told me that Nordic Track is transitioning to a new warehouse and that's why the part is being held up. This is total bullshit!! Nordic Track needs to step up and get this damn bike repaired. I'm guessing it's a board or controller issue, not a damn wiring harness. If Nordic Track really gives a damn about customer service then they should step up and assign someone who lives in this country to get the correct parts ordered ASAP. I live in an active golf course retirement community and people ask how we like our new exercise equipment from Nordic Track - I tell them pretty much what I just wrote down for this review. Was great while it worked, but stopped working after 4 days and I can't get Nordic Track to fix it. The help center is located in another country and they just say "Sorry sir". Step up Nordic Track!!!
