Great Bike, very happy to have this in our home
So far I have been very very impressed with this bike, and it has been a huge upgrade from the indoor bike we replaced. The first thing that impressed me is how quiet the bike is. I work from home and I have been able to work on my computer and have meetings while my wife is on the bike and haven’t had any sort of issues with that. My desk is maybe 10 feet away from the bike and there is literally almost no sound. I am relatively new to indoor trainer bikes like this, the one we had before we got this one was very simple and not really pleasant to train on. This one is much more evolved and I find myself really enjoying training on it. The fact that the bike moves up and down as you go on some of the workouts is really cool. It feels pretty close to a real bike ride because of that, you can feel the resistance adjust as the bike moves up and down and it gives you a very real bike feeling.
A few things that I have really liked about the bike:
• Easy to adjust resistance and elevation
• The bike is very quiet
• The seat is adjustable up and down, as well as in and out
• I have never used clip on shoes before, but I like that the bike has the ability to clip on with shoes. It is something I plan on getting and practicing with as part of my training
• The screen is very big and easy to navigate
I have done quite a few workouts on it now and have loved the bike, but I will give a few things I have noticed that are a little clunky, but are very minimal for me
• Some of the trainings I have done on Ifit have not seemed to link up great with the elevation changes. I have watched the training screen, and have had to manually adjust the elevation a couple times to match where the workout says I should be
• If you use something like Netflix or Amazon on it as one of the preinstalled apps, it puts the workout on the screen while you are watching a show. This is great because you can see everything coming up, but the workout will cover up the buttons on the video so it is difficult to pause or stop the video you are watching
• You can adjust the elevation and the speed from the handlebars, but everything else is done on the touch screen. This can be a little challenging in a work out to adjust things. For example, if you want to turn the fan on, you have to touch the screen to open a menu, select fan, and then the speed you want. Not really a hard process, and I understand why it is the way it is, but it can be a little difficult to do while you are riding.
Overall though I have loved the bike. If you can afford to do so, I would highly recommend the bike. It has been a very enjoyable training tool for us so far.
