I bought the Sony FX6

I bought the Sony FX6 from LensRentals.com and have been very pleased with it.Really low hours (under 100), great condition, good fair price for current market conditions. Came packed in original box with a complete set accessories as if you bought it new. An associate of mine saw it on set and said "wow, great condition for a used camera". It was rated top of the categories with low hours. It was a great purchase. No issues! The tech I spoke with about this specific camera said they sell their gear after 2 years if I understood that correctly. Will purchase from Lens Rentals again for sure!

Great Rental

This rental probably sealed my decision to buy the FX6 in the future to replace my FS7. The full frame sensor is definitely a big difference. The ND filter and actually using it indoors was a bit of a wake up for me, but the picture looks great, so I need to just catch up with the times. I’d love to buy the FX3 and save some money, but I don’t think that’s in the cards. The hard grip and ability to use it to zoom would be difficult to replicate on the FX3. The current options out there aren’t really very good. I shoot mostly sports (basketball, football, hockey) so I need to be able to zoom quickly and cleanly. I will definitely be rigging the FX6 for shoulder shooting, but thankfully moving from the FS7 means the lenses and Zacuto gear I already have will make that pretty easy. Since I already have some FX30’s the CFEX-A cards the FX6 also uses make it money I don’t need spend in switching. The e-mount lenses I already have also make this more sensible for me - rather than switching to a different manufacturer like Blackmagic or Panasonic. Another great rental from Lensrentals - Thanks!
