Canon RF 24-105mm f/4L IS

I liked the camera and it took excellent video. The battery life is very short and the camera body is small. Since I was using this camera to livestream it was not a big deal, I thought I would mention it.

The only reason I left 4 stars instead of 5 is because the lens specifically stated the retail box was included but it didn't ship with the lens. I have reached out to customer service and have been assured they will get it out to me. It has been 9 days since my initial contact requesting the retail box be sent but it has not shipped as of writing this review.

This was a fun lens to use with the R6. However, the sharpness and contrast at f/4 was pretty poor and very obvious at 105mm where not only was the center soft but toward the corners the image looked smeared. Center sharpness was fine at f/5.6 and above altho the corners were still pretty mushy until f/11. Maybe I got a bad copy, but I’ve tried a different copy of this lens and saw the same issue.

LensRental is amazing as always, it arrived on time and in amazing shape. 4 stars is because the lens lacks a bit of luster. It's slow to focus, and misses more than I'm used to with my 24-70.

I’m enjoying being able to try out other lenses without having to buy and possibly not liking a very costly lens.
