The Clearaudio Concept V2 MM Cartridge is an excellent replacement to my original Aurum cartridge that shipped with the Clearaudio turntable some years back. The quality from the Concept V2 is excellent with an openness and rang that was unexpected at the price. I can recommend the Concept V2 to anyone looking for a 'budget' moving magnet cartridge that really punches above its weight.

Bought this as an upgrade for the already decent inbuilt phono stage in my son’s Marantz PM6007 (running my old Pro-ject 1Xpression III with Ortofon 2m Blue MM) and it is definitely an excellent upgrade. Exceptionally low noise floor, with a very clean and balanced presentation with great dynamics and an open and transparent soundstage that is a step up. Would definitely recommend as great upgrade for a budget to mid-level vinyl setup.
