I like them a lot. Look great, feel comfortable...though I would have difficulty wearing a very thick pair of socks with them. Next time, I might be tempted to buy a size 44 (instead of my usual 43). So, in responding to the size question below, I say they are true to size...just!

I bought these for my wife, who had no prior knowledge of the brand, its relationship with the horsey world and would certainly never dream of spending this much money on herself. Her verdict: “Wow, they are beautiful and they are the comfiest things I’ve ever had on my feet apart from my slippers!” When she wore them in her office, she had lots of comments of admiration. So, I can only assume she likes them. A lot! The downsides? 1. I having read previous reviews, I was prudent and bought the size up. That turned out to be the exactly the right decision. 2. Despite her being of slender build, I generally have to help her pull them off her feet: they are tight, even with the elasticated drawstring at the calf. Beyond those negotiable drawbacks, I garnered many brownie points. The customer service team was also incredibly helpful when I rang in advance of placing the order. I needed to extend the returns period as I was ordering the boots over 30 days before my wife’s birthday, when she would first have a chance to try them on. I got straight through to a real person and was accommodated by a prompt follow-up email. This is a very happy customer and sowzizmissizz!

Lovely Jacket, just as I expected. Light and warm and perfect fit. Feels like a quality material and will last me a long time.
