The Dr. Martens Audrick 3-Eye
The Dr. Martens Audrick 3-Eye Shoe in Nappa Lux leather is a brilliant blend of classic Docs styling and modern comfort—it’s quickly become one of my favourite pairs.
The first thing that stands out is just how comfortable they are straight out of the box. Unlike some traditional Docs that need a bit of breaking in, the Nappa Lux leather is soft and supple from day one, making them easy to wear for long periods without discomfort.
Speaking of the leather, the quality is excellent. It feels premium, smooth, and durable, with a slightly refined finish that elevates the overall look of the shoe. It’s the kind of leather that not only looks great initially but should age really well over time.
Another standout feature is the sturdy sole. The Audrick sole unit is solid and confidence-inspiring underfoot, with plenty of grip and durability. It also adds around 3 inches of height, which is a nice bonus—it’s noticeable without feeling exaggerated, and it subtly enhances your overall stance.
What I Like Most
• Exceptional comfort for a Dr. Martens shoe
• High-quality Nappa Lux leather – soft, premium feel
• Chunky, durable sole with great grip
• Extra height boost (~3 inches) without sacrificing stability
• A great mix of classic and contemporary styling
They lean slightly more toward a modern, chunkier aesthetic than traditional 1461s, so if you prefer a slimmer profile, that’s something to consider—but personally, that’s part of their appeal.
So if you’re looking for a pair of Docs that combine comfort, quality materials, and a bold, modern sole, the Audrick 3-Eye is an excellent choice. They look great, feel great, and the added height and sturdy build make them stand out for all the right reasons.
