HAVE ORDERED SEVERAL JACKETS AND COLD WEATHER PANTS AFTER RETIREMENT FROM MILITARY FOR NORTHERN MICHIGAN WINTER FISHING AND HIKING

I use this piece of kit for two purposes. The original intended reason and for my DMR roll at work. It allows me to keep my range finder readily available and protected as well as other gear I need. I work in a desert climate but during the nights I can get cold. This kit fills all the rolls and is excellently made.

Great product

I have had the Guide Pac Mil for at least 5 years now and it is by far one of my favorite pieces of gear, so when I heard that they were being discontinued I purchased another (I may give it as a gift). I have used this pack while summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro as well as lots of other trips and its just great! Since the material is waterproof, its my go to pack if there is going to be any precipitation or if there is snow. I tend to you use it more during cooler weather as the material makes your back sweat easily. I'm really disappointed to hear that the pack it being discontinued . It would be nice to see it brought back, both in the military colors as well as the civilian ones. Wild Things, in my opinion, makes great quality gear and it would be nice to see more bags, storage gear, and packs (civilian and military) produced by the company. Also, I think it would be cool if you guys made Wild Things stickers and patches.
