Boots built like tanks. Love at first sight. Their orange color is simply beautiful, and the matte finish is perfect for casual wear. Regarding the fit, I have a pair of Woodstock shoes, 5 fitting, and compared to those, the 6 fitting is wider but comfortable (with regular socks), similar to barefoot shoes; I think they would still be quite comfortable with thick socks. Speaking of length, I don't notice any difference between the fittings (5 vs 6). The leather is thick but not stiff, and it broke in relatively well after a few days. The Commando sole, to my surprise, has more cushioning than the Dainite sole on my Woodstock shoes and makes little noise when walking on hard surfaces. Overall, I found them comfortable right out of the box.

These shoes are even more than expected. They are probably the most well-built shoes I’ve ever purchased and can’t wait to wear them for years. Also, they’re sizing recommendations for spot on.
