I’ve worn this sock for many years over literally thousands of miles. After many years, they finally began to wear out. Unfortunately REI stopped selling Thorlo sock and I bought Smartwool socks. While Smartwool socks are pretty good, they did give me blisters when hiking difficult trails. I switched to Darn Good socks and got even worse blisters. I finally found that I could order Thorlo socks directly from Thorlo. These Thorlo socks excel on long difficult hikes and backpacks. I rarely got even a hot spot.
