I normally wear a size 9. 5 shoe. I didn't see the recommendation to get a size down before I placed my order. Went ahead and exchanged for an 8 and it fits great. Very well made

Gorgeous waxed commander leather. Easier break-in than the CXL. I’m excited to NOT baby these like I do the other CXL Diesel boots I have. Deep, blackish-brown color. “Earth” is a great descriptor. The leather laces really make the look. Wearing these with some overdyed Iron Heart 21 ounce jeans. Tons of comments already after a few weeks.
