I've recently had a chance to use my Gill hat, several times. As a hearing aid user I've always got to be careful to not get them wet, rain or spray renders them useless very quickly and wind noise is a constant problem. My new hat fits well and allows me to still hear well , also they cover the ears fully and kept the spray off my hearing aids whilst I was doing safety boat duties in quite extreme conditions. Don't remember being so happy with a new purchase for a long time .
