The Kinesis 18l has become my go-to travel backpack in short order. The good: - lots of well organised space; I love the large open space as well as the more structured sections - straps are very comfortable and permit good weight distribution - sleek look, even when filled - love the secure sleeve on the inside for passports or other valuables - padding on the base gives a sense of security for carrying laptops etc. - flat base allows it to sit securely without toppling over The weaknesses that could be improved: - front sleeve zipper is not easy to use - water bottle holder can be roomier to accommodate a wider bottle; the bag doesn't need 2 holders so converting the second one to hold a small umbrella for instance would be better - the zippers don't have meaningful anti-theft measures - a small pocket on the shoulder straps could be helpful to store smaller items such as chapstick, mints, energy bar etc - more colours, please! Overall, this is exceptionally crafted and has displaced my trusted Osprey as my most frequently used backpack. It feels good to use, the materials feel good quality, and the designers have added many thoughtful touches. Well done and I look forward to buying more of your products in future.
