Baiia Swim - AU

The Monroe Reversible Bikini (and bottoms) are my third pair of Baiia swimwear (I have the one-piece wrap top, and x2 wrap tops all in different colours + matching bottoms for all three sets). Firstly, the customer service is great - my first pair arrived with damaged seams where the tag sits, but I also needed to go up a size, and they were very happy to exchange. I live in Vic but had a trip up to QLD so I was able to bring my swimsuit in person to exchange (but also try on a different size to ensure it fit). I thought I'd love the one-piece wrap top more, but I actually love these wrap tops that come in two pieces (the one in this review) and wear them a lot more regularly. I'd read reviews saying the two-piece can get tricky to put over your head (I know some people might be more or less flexible in their shoulders) but luckily, I don't have issues with this. I thought the one-piece might be easier however, I find it tricky to get the tightness of the two-piece right. I either tie them too tight, or not tight enough which stands out when diving in cold water, but I think this is just me needing to practice getting it right. No issues when hanging out on the beach or wearing it as a top. The fabric is amazing - it somehow keeps everything secure and smooth, while also being incredibly flattering (without cups!). I often wear my bikini tops (all three) as singlets - both on holidays at the beach, and at home in the city. It's been a great way for me to reduce the amount I pack for trips, and the reversible helps me change it up without having to bring extra sets. The lack of cups also means they dry more quickly which is really convenient for travel. The supportive fabric has also meant I've been able to do short walks to swimming holes without feeling uncomfortable, and without having to change (note I'm a 10C so may not work for everyone). I also have a bit of a tummy, but the swimsuit makes me feel really confident and fashionable. The fabric is smooth and holds in all the right places while still celebrating my shape (instead of hiding my body). I also love the colour and pattern of the Monroe specifically - I'd been waiting for a restock as it was often sold out and luckily managed to grab a set! It's very elegant, flattering shade. I'd highly recommend Baiia swimwear. I'd been umm-ing and ahh-ing for about 1+ year before committing and glad I did. I think sizing is super important with these given how firm they feel when I first put them on, and I would have booked a sizing appointment online if I wasn't able to go into their physical office. I'm around 5ft, 65kg and average a size ten (fluctuating depending on the week).
