It is a night and day difference comparing the stock audio system in my 2021 Toyota Tundra Crewmax compared to the Reference 500 package. Even if your don’t understand the provided instructions and videos, their customer service is there to guide you every step of the way. I would HIGHLY recommend this product to any Do-It-Yourself people or anyone looking to upgrade the sound in their vehicle.

Only had it installed for a couple weeks so far, but I'm loving it. It is so much of an improvement over the stock system. Install was relatively simple, did the speakers one day and the sub and amp the next. Would have had it done in a few hours if it weren't for the fact that I tried to put the sub enclosure and trim back together in the wrong order and just couldn't get it to fit back together :-). The only possible negative thing I would say, which is more a personal preference is I like to set the sound up to be encompassing between the front and back. Like the stock stereo, you need to push the fader quite a bit to the rear to get what to me is a balanced sound from the front and rear speakers while sitting in the front seat. I'm sure it sounds way louder in the back, but most the time, there isn't anyone in the back! Overall, very happy with my purchase. I'm finding that I'm coming up with reasons to take a ride just to listen to my music.

I had the stock non JBL system in my 16 Tacoma TRD sport and while the sound quality was decent, with the windows down on the highway you couldn't even hear the music. I ordered the Reference 500 package a few months ago and it finally came in and I was stocked. I have little experience dealing with car audio so I had planned to have a buddy come over and give me a hand. Well he's a busy guy and I was itching to get it in so I said screw it I'm going to attempt this myself. I printed out the PDF instructions and had the video on hand just in case. It took me, a guy with no experience, right around 7 hours to get the whole thing installed and it was worth every minute. The system is light years away from the stock stereo. The clarity of the highs and mids are crisp and the low end definitely has some punch. Rolled the windows down and hit the highway and cranked it up a bit and I immediately knew I made the right choice. I'm beyond thrilled with the results. Loud, clear and relatively easy to DIY. Only regret was not getting it sooner.

This is one of the best and easiest installs I've ever done. The sound quality from stock to the OEM plus was a phenomenal change I am super happy and overly impressed with how everything fit together and sounds perfect
