I wanted to update the side mirrors to match international spec Civics that come fully loaded unlike the USDM Si. From online research I ordered the Model C and was going to forget about the reverse tilt. Mikstore reached out to me to verify all the features I wanted in my car and recommended the best kit (Model F + Honda Reverse Tilt). Unlike the photos, they pre-installed the side mirror caps which was a pleasant surprise. The installation seems confusing at first, but not bad if you are familiar with pinning harnesses. Each wire is labeled by number and referred by color and even denotes the side (“R” & “L”). The turn signals are the only wires that require running through the door grommet to the fuse box, this was the most difficult part. No hole punching required like in the guide but yours may differ. It also wasn’t immediately clear where to put the signal harness as the one provided was different from the install guides and not marked. I learned that it is actually a convenient install T-harness meant to tap into the signal harness on the back of fuse box, then to each door. No splicing or pinning required. Full turnaround was about 6hrs not including breaks. For someone already familiar with this car’s trim removal, this can be done in less time. I want to thank Mikstore for not only providing a solid product but also making sure I was given the right equipment.
